'Bess, you is my woman now' is a classical American Jazz masterpiece from George Gershwin's 'Porgy and Bess'. There are two extraordinary renditions. One is piano, one violin.
The piano rendition is from Dave Grusin's Gershwin Collection album CD, called 'Medley - Bess you is my woman / I love you porgy'; The violin rendition is from Issac Stern's Violin Encore CD. The violin version of this piece was originally arranged by famous violinist Heifetz, however his recording is not as high quality as Issac Stern's maybe due to the limitation of the recording technology at Heifetz's time. Both piano and violin rendition of this piece are incredibly intriguing.
