These Foolish Things - Japanese version and Chinese version

These Foolish Things

"These Foolish Things" is a standard Jazz number. There are many versions. The image on the left show a Japanese interpretation, which is very good.

This one is another Japanese version, which is actually in Japanese. (But it is not as good as the first Japanese lady's version).

I therefore translated it into Chinese:

So, why it needs to be translated into Chinese then? You may not know that the original English lyrics was written by Anna May Wong's lover, and dedicated to Anna May Wong. The song writer found the lyrics, got inspired and added in the music part.

A cigarette that bares a lipsticks traces
An airline ticket to romantic places
And still my heart has wings
These foolish things remind me of you.
A tinkling piano in the next apartment
Those stumblinwords that told you what my heart meant
A fairgrounds painted swings
These foolish things
Remind me of you.
You came,
You saw,
You conquered me
When you did that to me
I knew somehow this had to be
The winds of march that made my heart a dancer
A telephone that rings but whos to answer
Oh, how the ghost of you clings
These foolish things
Remind me of you
