BR-2A reverse ring test 2 - Nikon Macro / Micro

BR-2A reverse ring test 2

I have managed to take some time to test BR-2A reverse ring macro close up feature again.

This is taken with Nikon D90 + 50mm f 1.8 D with BR-2A reverse ring.
This is with the aperture set to f16; D90 can only use 'M' mode with this reverse ring. So I set the ISO to ISO200, set the Speed to 1 sec. With the help of tripods of course.

If you don't use tripods, you have to set the aperture to like F1.8, then the deep of field is so narrow. Then most of the compose in the photo frame is out of the focus. Like one this. So you must use a tripods.

Or you must use Flash. However, I cannot figure out how to wireless control SB-600 Flash with the built-in Flash of D90 as the commander with the lens reversed and the CPU contact points of the lens all disabled.

With Canon 250D close up lens. (Notice, using Canon 250D you don't have as large magnification as with using the reverse ring, but you have the advantages of using Flash and AF and AE ).
