This is taken with Nikon D90 attached with Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 G.

People using DX format Nikon SLR normally don't buy 50mm lens because of the 1.5x factor. They get 35mm f/1.8 G instead.

I got this lens, because: 1. It's the No.1 in the Top 10 Nikon/Nikkor lens list; 2. It is cheap as dirty; 3. With Canon 250D close up filter or Nikon BR-2A reverse ring, it does amazing macro (or micro as Nikon calls it); 4. Good portrait and DOF effects; 5. Nice bokeh... 6. In terms of just 50mm, there has been a lot of compare test for all the Nikon 50mm models (including those f/1.4 models). 50mm f/1.8 D always win. 7. It is the sharpest, lightest, smallest and the cheapest Nikon lens. It is claimed that all Nikon users need to have this lens. (before all of sudden it is discontinued. It has been around since 1978)

Here are some first shots
This is the 4th lens already. Nikon is such an evil...
