Sydney to Tokyo, transfer from Beijing. This is Beijing new airport (the best in the world I have seen so far).

All those snow outside, I've heard it is one of the coldest winter in the history. Beijing is my hometown, but, no I'm not visiting this time, just transfer.







7:49am as you can see...



Beautiful morning and airport...



My hotel. The Hyatt Regency Tokyo. My friend is not available for the first two days, so I end up in a hotel. And what a hotel! Extremely comfortable bed set, I actually had a very comfortable sleep. I thought the hotel I stayed in New York is very comfortable. Now I aware that only the mattress was.



What do you know? The Tokyo government building is right in front of your eye outside the window... Well, actually I do know, that's why I picked this hotel. ;)











And some anal xxx with water, Japanese style. Kidding. Very clean and efficient.

Shinjyuku (新宿）here I come. They said if you have limited time, and can only go and stay in one area in Tokyo, then it has to be Shinjyuku. I do have more time than that, but still I will stay and start from Shinjyuku.



This street is called 中央通. It's like 'Central Street/Avenue'. Wait, until you get under the overpass. It's only a few hundred meters from the Government Building. You see this:



They said in Japan, not like in Australia, the government's warfare/pension for the poor only lasts like 6 months? And after that you are on your own no matter what...



Well, need to have some food, while I am still able to afford it.



Shinjyuku station is a. The most large (area wise) and complicated station in Tokyo, more so than Tokyo Station. (correct me if I'm wrong); b. It has the largest daily people flow in the world. The amount equals the entire population of Beijing or Shanghai...

It certainly looks like a maze; Even Japanese get lost.



A nice and clean Ramen restaurant. Ramen - 拉面 (Noodle out of stretching by hand; That's what it means in Chinese if you see it in Kenji - Chinese Character in Japanese).



Not bad, (the noodle is definitely not out of stretching by hand), not fancy either in Chinese cuisine noodle standard.

谷原章介 again, in some fancy clothes, getting thinner and thinner, more and more like a woman.



村上春树 in translucent pink. Hmm... interesting...



Finally got my glasses ultra sonic cleaned. Which is a free service normally found outside a optometrist.



That's as much as the landing day reminding time allows me to do. Getting later. Heading back to the hotel...
