At the end of Nanjing Rd, we arrived the Bund. Peace Hotel
The river side walk has been blocked for renovation for the upcoming World Expo. The entire Bund was actually under going cleaning and renovating for that purpose.
Shanghai is such amazing city, mixing both old and new. The Bund vintage buildings for example, maybe not as much in number comparing with, say NYC, and maybe even Paris. But They are much more elegant and refined, which is a bit unusual as Shanghai is an Eastern Chinese City. I'm working in both Sydney and Vancouver. But my plan for my retirement is living in China somehow if possible. I will then have to choose Beijing and Shanghai. With, now, Shanghai seems more attractive.
