Nikon 50mm f 1.8 G (2011) - vs. f 1.8 D and f 1.4 G

2011 sees Nikon released a new version of 50mm f 1.8 lens --- G

So I replaced my Nikon 50mm f 1.8 D.

G is better than D in that: a. Super silent and fast focusing; b. No rotation at the front end while focusing; c. Much better and creamier Bokeh, while keeping practically all D's advantages like the legendary sharpness, and low distortion. G is just a bit larger in size than D.

Many reviews found out that this new 50mm f 1.8 G is actually better than its double priced elder brother 50mm f 1.4 G. (Sharper, less distorted, and of course much cheaper).
